A Pairing

​Finally, as in a fine restaurant, here is a “pairing.” Yes, we’ve seen Chagall’s Birthday here before (in 2021), but when I found this photograph (below) of Marc and Bella (neé Rosenfeld), I felt we just had to conclude with both images. Flowers appear in both; her dress, too. The painting showcases the heady euphoria of young love (both agreed, “we fell in love at first sight”), but the photo has the look of deep love enduring. I have so enjoyed your insightful comments and our occasional back-and-forths. Many thanks! See you in 2025, I hope!
